Most people have a healthy fear of snakes. They are slimy, icky, and generally unpleasant creatures who will scare the bejesus out of you if they happen across your path. Whether it’s a tiny green garden snake, common among many grassy locations around the United States, or larger dangerous snakes in the western states like the rattlesnake and copperhead, they instill a deep seated terror in the heart of anyone around them. This is actually quite a delicacy overseas since it’s thought to increase a man’s virility. It’s like an all natural “viagra” for male potency. By having a combination of the blood and bile of the snake you are more likely to receive the benefits. Sounds kind of creepy, right? Not only is this experience not for the faint of heart, because they often times will cut a live snake right in front of you. Then drain it’s nutrients right into a wine glass.
