12. Pharaoh Hound:
This interesting looking species is best suited for warmer climates. So those that live in the midwest or direct north should steer clear of this pet. They have thin skin and short fur so they aren’t good for snow, or serious cold. Another reason why many people eliminate them from their list when choosing a breed is that they need many walks per day with lots of area to run and play in. These would not be suited to apartment living so many people don’t pick them for that reason. They have a good life expectancy, living up to 13 years on average.
