2. Kibbles N Bits:
This brand of dog food is made by Big Heart Pet Brands which owns a number of dog food companies, including Milk Bone, Pupperoni, and Gravy Train. They also own Nature’s Recipe so they are savvy to the organic dog food devotees. It doesn’t mean that their dog chow is any good though. When you look at the ingredients of Kibbles N Bits, it’s more bits of garbage than anything else. It contains generic “meat and bone meal.” Would you want to eat that? Your poor pet doesn’t either, so if you buy this brand of dog food you might consider going with something else that’s better for your poor pooch. This brand came out in 1981, and was unique for combining softer food pieces with crunchier ones. Dogs like the alternative textures because it seems more like real food. It’s not.
